ZimFETP resident presents at the 7th Zimbabwe Uniformed Forces Health Services Conference

The Zimbabwe Defence Forces Health Services (ZDF HS) held their annual health conference at The Elephant Hills hotel in Victoria Falls during the first week of July 2019. The conference serves as a platform for learning, sharing information and experiences in the ever changing health fraternity. In addition, the conference is used to track progress in stepping up efforts towards quality health care delivery systems within ZDF in particular and the uniformed forces in general. Flight lieutenant Chamunorwa Mhembe, a second year resident with the ZimFETP presented his study titled “HIV Testing and Counselling Trends among children aged 14 years and below, Kadoma City, 2018.” Mr Mhembe represented the programme well and the nation at large as delegates in attendance included uniformed officers from Nigeria, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, South Africa and Angola.
